ISI 2027: Apply, Refer or Register
Why Apply Now?
ISI 2027 registration prices are fixed by when you apply.
Applying now means you lock in today's prices, no matter when you pay. The closer we get to ISI, the higher registration prices will go. There are three registration phases:
- First Registration apply by November
- Early Registration apply by March
- Standard Registration
Please note that some discount packages only apply to certain registration phases.
Once you apply, we will ensure we put a package together that gives you the best-priced bundle based on the package and discount combination you have nominated.
What you need to apply:
- 3 ~300 word statements about yourself
- Your experience to date with intersectionality
- What you hope to get out of ISI 2027
- Your experience to date with MAIHDA if you wish to select the Advanced MAIHDA Application Session
- We hope to view two items from the following list: your CV, Resume, Professional Bio, Google Scholar, ORCID and/or LinkedIn profile. Please provide links as you will not be able to attach documents.
- The registration package and discount program you wish to apply for.
ISI 2027 Price Discount Programs
During the application process, we ask you to nominate which discount package you wish to apply to your registration if eligible. Only one discount package may be applied to any registration. ISI Alum Day Passes are not eligible for any discount packages.
ISI Alum/Faculty Referral
If you are referred to ISI 2027 by an ISI Alum or a Facilitator, you may be eligible for a $1,000 discount off of the standard registration prices.
Scholar Tier Discount
If you are a currently subscribed Scholar Tier member of the Collective, you are eligible for a $750 discount off of early or standard registration prices.
The Philly Discount
If you live or study in Philadelphia, you may be eligible for a $500 discount off of an early or standard registration price.
Group Discounts
Groups of three or more attendees, paid in one payment, may be eligible for a $1,000 discount off the registration price per attendee. Groups do not have to belong to the same organization. They simply need to have their full registration paid in one transaction.
All members of the group should have applied and been accepted to the program.
We understand that many people's grants have been terminated and that budgets for professional development have been slashed. We stand in solidarity with you. In this era, ITI has consciously and intentionally reduced our prices to ensure that people can still access the training resources that they need to build their intersectionality research capacity and skills and advance health equity. Registration Only Package
First Registration Price: $2,950
- A five-day program of intersectionality training facilitated by professionals, scholars and practitioners who are current in their field
- Ask Me Anything (AMA), Mentoring and Chill and Chat sessions specific to different research methods and approaches, to discuss your projects
- A welcoming networking event so you can meet others in your cohort
- Access to selected edited recordings before and after the event to help you prepare and to take your learning further
- PDF copies of pre-readings and presentation materials from most sessions
- Resource lists which are curated continuously, including after the event
- ISI signature totes and merchandise
- Ongoing access to a private digital space for ISI attendees from your cohort
- Access to and permission to use professional photos from ISI 2027
Scholar Tier Package
First Registration Price: $3,450
Everything in the Registration Only Package plus an annual subscription to the Intersectionality Collective Scholar Tier (a $1,499 value), which includes:

- Access to a video streaming library of over $10,000 value of edited intersectionality research training recordings including qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research
- Access to recordings of each ISI keynote address since 2023 featuring professors such as Patricia Hill Collins, Patricia Homan, and Dorothy Roberts
- Monthly office hours with leading researchers such as ISI 2027 facilitators including Clare Evans
Scholar Tier + 3 Consultation Hours
First Registration Price: $4,450
Everything in the Scholar Tier Registration Package, plus 3 hours of consultation with an ISI 2027 facilitator or another researcher expert in your project's topic.
- The three hours can be used to have one on one consultations, or to address a group, a class, or a lab;
- Consultation hours may be used to discuss your project, ask advice, or review work.
Please note that consultation packages are subject to availability. It is advisable to contact us to discuss your plans for those hours to ensure alignment before registering for this package.
Entrepreneurship Package
First Registration Price: $4,250
Everything in the Scholar Tier package, plus:
- A professional headshot mini photoshoot taken at ISI 2027 on Friday, July 16
- A digital, professional brand review completed before ISI 2027
- A digital brand strategy session with a marketing professional
- 2 hours of entrepreneur coaching
ISI Alumni Day Pass
- First Registration Price for 1 Day: $1,000
- First Registration Price for 2 Days: $1,500
ISI Alums selecting this package must identify the days in which they plan to attend when registering. Places are limited.
The Day Pass includes:
- An ISI 2027 tote bag and merchandise
- All sessions for that day, including any social sessions if applicable
- Access to the Collective Cohort space for ISI 2027
If ISI Alums wish to attend for three days, we recommend purchasing the five-day experience.
ISI Alum Day Pass, Scholar Tier + 2 Consultation Hours
- First Registration Price for 1 Day: $2,250
- First Registration Price for 2 Days: $2,750
Includes everything in the Day Passes, Collective Scholar Tier for 1 year, plus two consultation hours.
