The Text & The Tea

This isn't an ordinary book club.

Nope.  Dedicated to both articles and books (i.e., “texts”), The Text & The Tea is the place to read and discuss historical and contemporary texts about intersectionality.   Sparked by salonistes at our Intersectionality Research Salons and members of the Intersectionality Collective, The Text & The Tea is the place to be (see what we did there) to learn, exchange ideas, favorite quotes, and sip tea with our community.

Everyone is invited.  You don’t have to be a saloniste or Intersectionality Collective member to join.  You just have to be interested in intersectionality literature.

We’ll meet via Zoom on the last Wednesday of the month from February to October. Come for a single session or the entire series.

The Text & The Tea is free, but you must register to attend.

Each month will feature a different facilitator and text.  Got an idea for a text Interested in facilitating a discussion? Let us know.

Peppermint? Chaga? Chamomile? Lavender?  Brew a cup of your favorite tea to sip as we talk.  We’ll see you there.
