Director of Operations

Jenné is a Senior Research Scientist and Project Director of Team Represent at the George Washington University, and the Deputy Director of the Intersectionality Research Institute at GW. She also serves as a Commissioner and Chair of the DC Department of Health Regional Planning Commission on Health and HIV (COHAH) and Community Engagement and Education Committee (CEEC), respectively.

With a doctorate in Community Health and Prevention from the Drexel University School of Public Health, Massie is passionate about community engagement and training policymakers and practitioners about the benefits of intersectionality.

As project director of the WK Kellogg Foundation-funded Intersectionality Toolkit Project, Massie played a leading and instrumental role in ensuring that that project reflected the concerns and challenges of maternal and child health policymakers, practitioners and community-based organizations in our three selected cities — Washington, DC; Santa Fe, New Mexico; and New Orleans, Louisiana.

Massie will facilitate trainings on the application of intersectionality to policy and practice.
